MAX was founded by Emma Lucce, a registered architect with more than thirty years of experience delivering projects across architecture, planning and construction.

Over the past fifteen years, her work has focused extensively on Sydney's residential market — navigating planning controls, heritage constraints, approvals, site conditions, consultant coordination and construction complexity across some of the city's most challenging residential projects.

MAX was founded on a simple belief:

Architectural knowledge should not begin after a property is purchased. It should inform the purchase itself.
